There are so many tools for unlocking Nexus devices, But Wug's How to's, Nexus, Rooting,Nexus Root Toolkit would be the first one for unlocking new Nexus 7, completely with bootloader unlocking, one click root and recovery flash. The toolkit was launched a while ago serving other  Nexus devices and now the new Nexus 7 is also introduced to it.


Using this service is really simple, Lets get started

  

First you will have to download the required files that are needed for the running of the device depending on the device yo own. 



Then you will have to enable 'USB Debugging' on your device. Considering that you use a Android 4.2 or higher version, just follow the instructions as shown above .


 The toolkit basically allows you install the files manually and automatically. The basic interface of the toolkit gives you options such as unlocking, rooting (with or without flashing a custom recovery), flashing to the stock factory image, and even identifying if the device is soft-bricked or in a boot loop. Backup and restore functions have also been provided so you can keep your data safe before attempting anything here.


Next click the advanced button then you will be able to push or pull files, install APKs, perform ADB functions, temporarily boot into a custom recovery, flash a stock recovery or kernel etc. If you are not sure what the function will actually do, just hover around a button for a better explanation the function.


And with the help of robust ‘Settings’ menu, you can play around with what recovery is installed to your device, set file associations for APK files, tinker with update settings. You can download the recovery for free from one of the following download links.
