Spyglass Is A Graphical Disk Usage Analyzer & Duplicate File Remover For Windows

If you are in such a situation someone is just taking away all your hard disk space, a disk analyzer can be useful such a situation. They automatically  finds large files in your PC and allow you to organize them so as to increase your drive space. They also show the structure of a particular file. Spyglass is one such disk analyzer with a wonderful UI and graphical representation of the disk storage. The app allows you remove junk or clone files from your PC or basically helps you to get rid of duplicate files.

Basically Spyglass is simple software with easy usage. In order to get started open the app and its just a drag and drop process or else just click on the big '+' button on the center of the screen and chose your desired directory in order to begin scan.


Then suddenly the scan begins, larger the folder  uou chose more will be time taken by Spyglass to complete the scan.


After the scan is finished, app give s a complete history of the scan on the Navigation bar on the left, along with graphical diagram of the disk that the developers tout as Sunburst view. The diagram shows different colored coded archs that helps you understand the type of item they represent. Blue arcs represent folders, orange arcs represent files, while the gray ones are combination of small files and folders. You can click the blue arcs to drill in, while clicking at the center lets you drill out. The app also shows an Breadcrumbs bar that displays the complete path of selected folders.


As said earlier the app also allows you to find the exisiting duplicate files and allows you to clean up inoerder to disk space. You can also click the minuscule arrow next to any item to browse the file in Windows File Explorer. Lastly, the application lets you sort the navigation list by file size, name, modification date or duplicate count.


Spyglass is an application that works on both 32-bit and 64-bit of all Windows OS.
