Leaked News shows Dell introducing new 10.8 inch Windows 8.1, Windows RT Tablets

As news just came in Dell is holding an event in New York next week where the company is expected to launch a new series of tablets which includes an 8 inch model with an Intel Atom Bay Trail processor. As per known the company is also looking forward for larger models. As per known The Dell Venue 11 and Dell Venue 11 Pro are expected to come with a 10.8 inch, full HD displays mean while the base model is expected to have a Qualcomm processor and runs Windows RT software and the Dell Venue 11 Pro is a Windows 8.1 tablet with Intel chip.

Dell hasn't made any official announcements, so this leaked news could be fake

Coming to its specifications both models would offer up to 10 hours of battery life, and provides a 1920 x 1080 pixel display and 2GB of RAM. But the Dell Venue 11 Pro will provide a 64Gb hard disk and optional 4Gb LTE support, But the base model will be providing only a Wi-Fi Tablet with 32GB storage. Venue 11 Pro is expected to have a Intel Atom Z3770 quad core processor and Windows 8.1 32-bit software. reports also came in that the Pro model would also have a user replaceable battery and optional accessories including a desktop dock and keyboard dock.

The Pro model is expected to come to markets with a price tag of $399 and no hints of the Qualcomm powered model.

Del isn't producing both Windows RT altogether and they would suggest that the company has stopped selling its first Windows RT tablet this week.

At first lacne Windows RT 8.1 does look like Windows 8.1 but it is designed only for ARM based processors and there are lots of restrictions imposed by Microsoft that the apps cant be easily installed unless they come from the official Windows Store. Most apps designed for the classic Windows desktop user interface won’t run on Windows RT, and you can’t run most apps designed for older versions of Windows since they’re not designed for the new “Modern” user interface or for ARM-based processors.

It is also possible that the leaked news may be fake or prototypes and may never become real products.
