Ubuntu Touch OS launch set for Oct. 17 - Version1.0

Followed by the failure of the recent crowd sourcing campaign in building the Ubuntu Edge super phone, canonical will launch Ubuntu Touch on 17 October. Canonical may have failed on its bid in raising $32,000,000 in produce the sleek and versatile Ubuntu Edge, in fact the project to deliver the software, which was intended to power the device i still going ahead at a breakneck speed!

Nicholas Skaggs, the community coordinator for canonical, confirmed on his blog earlier that the mobile OS will be available in exactly "one month" encouraging the users to continue testing the beta for bug reports ahead of the release. In order to be a part of this bug hunter its officially recommended that the users must at least have a compatible handset, which at the moment must be a Google Nexus device. That also includes Samsung Galaxy Nexus and LG Nexus 4 Smartphones and the Google Nexus 7 and Google Nexus 10 tablets.

So guys understanding the idia behind this platform is in allowing the you to use your smartphone when you're out about, and then plug it in to monitor, keyboard and mouse when you return to your desktop. This will let you use your smartphone to work as a desktop computer which in terms offers you a full installation of Ubuntu. With the help of the cloud, files and tasks will be carried over to the mobile environment, in fact will allow you to maintain your work or play whether you're in your office or sitting somewhere you want.

Please note before you install the OS, that this experience in flashing your hardware may void your warranty, as you are manually flashing. But eventually Canonical hopes to add hardware partners to its roster, enabling the company to finally deliver smartphones that are Ubuntu Touch per-loaded.

May b a main key selling point under the OS is that the Ubuntu touch will allow you in dual boot, which means this will allow you to choose which OS you might want to use presently each time when you restart your device.

Ubuntu mobile being one among the whole number of the total open source mobile OS to emerge in the last few years with Sailfish, Tizen and Firefox OS all making the faster position in making over with the iOS and Android. Its being more helpful for the normal users to live in the present age to get all these for free and each of them making better than the other makes us difficult to choose as all these are one or the the other better than each other!
