So, if you are gonna make some customized preview of your own, then you need to full fill some requirements that i have mentioned below.

For that all you need it :

.bmp picture (bitmap picture) Dimension 720 X 1280 and that's quite an HD for replacing your original boot animation logo along with and fastboot installed on your device.

If you wish to try out one image like this one below, download your preferred version now!

Not this with the border ok! Its actually without the border, and you can clearly edit using Photoshop for a fine and better image with your custom cations or even what you want inside this.

Try this for a trial!

For Windows - 32 bit version : Motorola Logo Windows 32 bit [ 3.51 MB (3,686,456 bytes) ]

For OS 2 - 24 bit Version: Motorola Logo OS / 2 24 bit [ 2.63 MB (2,764,828 bytes) ]

In case if you want to keep a backup of your original file, you will require rooting privileges on your device.

So, lets get started!

Step 1 - To perform a backup of the original image just type in the following command into a command prompt window (after connecting your phone to the PC) :

adb shell su -c “dd if=/dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/by-name/clogo of=/sdcard/clogo.bmp”

Step 2 - Now type :

  “adb reboot bootloader”

To restart your phone in the bootloader mode (Alternatively you can also do this step manually as well).

Step 3 - Erase the original image by typing :

 “fastboot erase clogo”

Step 4 - To flash a new image onto your phone (do remember it has to be of the dimensions 720 x 1080) type:

“fastboot flash clogo <filename>.bmp”

Remember this will only work if you have placed the image file in the folder containing fastboot. Alternatively, if you’re an advanced used you can provide a direct path via Terminal or CMD as well.

You are done!

Oh, thats quite simple right. Well that was a great as my friend found himself changed his bootloader image on his Moto X as i could see it was realy superb.
