How to Downgrade iOS 7 to 6.1.3 for iPhone iPad & iPod Touch

Today i will explain you in ow to degrade from iOS 7 to iOS 6.1.3 which i have done and tested successfully on to my iPhone. So it will help you guys if you need to get your iOS 7 down to 6.1.3 . According to my review iOS 7 has been great, but its the untethered jailbreak which is going to be released in less than a month.

For real i have degraded iOS 7 to iOS 6 due to one more reason that i found my iPhone 4 being much better and faster to use under the iOS 6 and i found the same review over the Google that its better to use iOS 6 on iPhone 4.

So, if you wish to jailbreak their device under the iOS 6 until the jailbreak for iOS 7 comes up. Just follow the instructions carefully in order to degrade your device from iOS 7 to iOS 6.

Before you begin to degrade, you must use a previously saved SHSH for your phone. If you haven’t already saved SHSH it’s impossible for you to go back to iOS 6.

So, if you already have a saved SHSH for your phone on iOS 6, follow the steps that i have provided below that i used to degrade my device.

Firstly : Install iTunes 11.0.5

Please note that : If you have a newer version, uninstall your iTunes, and download iTunes 11.0.5 or an earlier version of iTunes in order for this downgrade to work because in iTunes 11.1, the ability to restore to custom firmware has disappeared.

Step 1 - Download iFaith

Step 2 - Download iOS 6.1.3 for your device

Step 3 - In iFaith, click on “Build *signed* IPSW w/ Blobs”

Step 4 - Find and select your SHSH.

Step 5 - Select 6.1.3 stock firmware.

Step 6 - Get your device into PWNED DFU mode ( you will find on-screen instructions in iFaith)

Step 7 - Open iTunes

Step 8 - Press shift + Restore in windows

Step 9 - Press Alt + Restore in Mac

Step 10 - Locate the custom IPSW created by iFaith.

Step 11 -
Wait for the operation to finish and for your iPhone to reboot

Step 12 - Now you have a working 6.1.3 software on your device

That's all in degrading!

If you feel any questions about this steps, then please comment below.
