Ubuntu Touch, one of the recently launched OS genes that had listed on the Googzone's OS Modules for a while, we started the reports on the updates of the Ubuntu Touch OS. Ubuntu released the Ubuntu Version Touch OS of the popular Linux distribution Ubuntu being generating buzz over the past years, developers being hardly developing the first previews. I tried this on my Google Nexus 2012 WiFi edition with this simple method, and you can anytime remove it back by going back on to your Present Android OS. So, if you are interested to try one of these then read the following to get started. You can try this out on your Nexus Phone/Tablets without removing your primary Mobile OS. Here its as like the same as that of your desktop as it will show the dual boot OS being indexed when you switch on your device.
This is nothing complicated as it can be easily be updated on to your device using the MultiRom Manager App.
Present Update: Making an effort in Porting Ubuntu Touch OS to Google's Nexus 7 (2013) has been temporary stalled until further notice has been made due to lack of contributors. Canonical has also mentioned on their Ubuntu Touch wiki that they currently do not support Nexus 7 (2013). They may add support when they get closer to Ubuntu 14.04 release. As it stands now, dual booting of Ubuntu Touch with Android will work only with Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 (2012) WiFi.

Installing the App
MultiRom Manager, is an app that is available free on the Google Play which was developed by an Developer @ XDA-Developers. All you need to do is to download the app on to your Nexus 4 or Nexus 7. The app comes with a User friendly UI that is easy to hande with and here you don't need any PC or Laptop connectivity to do this. All you need is a rooted Android v 4.0 and above (also supports CyanogenMod 10 ROMs).
Note: The app currently works only on Nexus 4 and Nexus 7( 2012/2013) WiFi.
So how to get Started using Ubuntu Touch

Once finished installing the Ubuntu Touch image, reboot and select Ubuntu image from the menu to boot onto the Ubuntu Touch. To boot back into Android, turn off the phone and turn it back on, or open the terminal app on Ubuntu Touch and type sudo reboot.
