Are you here to root your Android device, to being able to install root-only apps, or flash a custom ROM, then this might be helpful to you. Follow the guidelines carefully in successfully completing your task!
Requirements
1. You need to have your Motorola USB Drivers installed
Select your Preferred Version
Download for 32 bit V4.9.0 Windows (Recommended) | Download Motorola Drivers 5.9.0 - 32bits
Download for 64 bit V4.9.0 Windows (Recommended) | Download Motorola Drivers 5.9.0 - 64bits
2. Download SuperOneClick 2.1 (Requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or later).
3. USB Cable
Procedure
Step 1 - Install the USB Drivers and restart your computer.
Step 2 - Shutdown the device and keeping the volume-up key pressed switch on your device, this will get your phone onto bootloader mode.
Step 3 - Connect your phone to the computer using the USB Cable. Automatically the bootloader drivers shall be automatically installed.
Step 4 - Restart your device normally on to your Android mode.
Step 5 - Now connect your device to the PC and let the normal drivers get installed automatically.
Step 6 - Disable the USB debugging on your Phone if so. For that you need to go to Settings > Applications > Development.
Step 7 - Launch SuperOneClick on your PC. For that right click on the file and selecting Run as Administrator.
Step 8 - Click on to the 'Root' . Now it will say that Waiting for Device.
Step 9 - Now enable the USB debugging on your phone the same steps you used to Disable.
Step 10 - Now you need to wait until a message from your PC telling that your Device is rooted.
Step 11 - Now finally Reboot your Phone and you're Done!
Now you have succesfully completed rooting your Device. Now you will be able to install more apps that supports Root acces.
