How To Root Moto X (All Versions), Droid Ultra, Mini, And Maxx

As Dan Rosenberg after declaring this intentions to stop publishing exploits for Motorola Devices, the fans of OEM have been thinking that if there will be much of a future within the modding community.



Justin case released his own methods for Rooting Motorola's latest salvo of devices. These simple to use apps root the Motorola's Moto X, Ultra, Mini and the Maxx.



That was one just fact, so lets move on to the root section. I will make a more clear and deep explanation in how this works.

This Root method is prescribed only for Moto X, Droid Maxx, Droid Mini, and Droid Ultra. Please don't try it on any other device.

Instructions 

1. Download the rooting app for the Moto X

Files

MotoRoot1.1-Rogers.apk : Size (1MB)
MotoRoot1.1-Droid.apk :Size (1MB)
MotoRoot1.1-ATT.apk : Size (1MB)
MotoRoot1.1-Verizon.apk : Size (1MB)
MotoRoot1.1-USCellular.apk : Size (1MB)
SuperSU-v1.66-xbin.apk : Size (2MB)
MotoRoot1.1-Sprint.apk : Size (1MB) ,

or for the Maxx/Mini/Ultra

Files

SuperSU-v1.66-xbin_2.apk
MotoRoot1.1-Droid_2.apk

 Be careful to get the right variant for your phone.

2. Install it by typing:

'adb install -r motoroot.apk' (Note: filenames vary by device).

3. Run the app on your device.

4. Tap on the 'Setup' button and wait for the phone to reboot.

5. Install SuperSU from the Play Store.

6. Brag to your friends.


This is all what you wanted!, right now you should be having a fully rooted phone on your hands!
