How to Root the Motorola Electrify M XT905 running Jelly Bean - By one click Root methord


Guys lost your Root ability after the updation from the primary Android version to Jelly Bean ? Ok, then if so or not so here is the path to make your root for Motorola Electrify M XT905. You know how the root developers make this ? Each time the updation comes out the developers need to find out the key to root-access on to each different devices by find the explot that can be used to inject he SU binary files to the device. So, am here with the developed version of roor for your Motorola Electrify M XT905, which i developed my versional updates that could make non-developer and less known noraml people to attain root with this simple steps that i made.

So lets get started

Rooting Steps

Before you start note the following :

I - You must have unlocked bootloader of your device.

II - This works on Windows based PCs only.

III - You must have all the drivers that you needed on to connect your device!

So you may download the drivers accordingly to your preferred program language Bit.

Motorola Drivers: 5.9.0 - 32bits | 5.9.0 - 64bits ( Click to download your preferred version )

IV - Files to be downloaded before you start.

1. Fastboot

2. TWRP Recovery Image

3. SuperSU

I will make the things more clear. Follow the steps clearly before jumping on :

Here i will take you Root your device by 2 Parts Part I & Part II

Part I - Flashing a Custom Recovery


Step 1 - Download and place all the files onto your Desktop.


Step 2 - Extract files from the Fastboot archive over to your Desktop.


Step 3 - Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable for the purpose of file transfer.


Step 4 - Copy the SuperSU file over to the root of your SD card.


Step 5 - Once the file’s been copied, unplug your device from your PC.


Step 6 - Turn OFF your device.


Step 7 - Reboot your device into Fastboot mode. To do so, simply hold down all three buttons on your device for a few seconds.

Step 8 - Select Fastboot option from the options available on your screen.


Step 9 - Now connect your device to your PC via USB cable.


Step 10 - Open a Command Prompt Window on your Desktop. To do that, simply hold down the Shift button on your keyboard and right-click on any empty area on the screen, then select Open command window here.

Step 11 - Type in following command into the Command Prompt Window you just opened:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-recovery.img


Step 12 - It should flash the custom recovery on your device.


Step 13 - Once the recovery’s been flashed, disconnect your device from your PC.


Step 14 - Turn OFF your device.
The custom recovery’s been installed, now lets proceed in how to Root your Device.

Part II -Rooting Your Device

Step 1 - Still your device turned OFF, press and hold all three buttons on your device.

Step 2 - Select Recovery from the options available on your screen.


Step 3 - From the Recovery menu, select install and choose the SuperSU file you copied earlier to your device.


Step 4 -
It’ll flash the file on your device.


Step 5 - Once the file has been flashed, reboot your device.


Step 6 - Is nothing else as now, your phone has completed rooting!


Your Motorola Electrify M XT905 has successfully Rooted!
