As you all might be knowing about the latest Android 4.4 KitKat has brought several cool changes in the OS, and one of them being a much smarter Phone app that now keeps track of who do you call the most, and shows those contacts higher in the list in your call log or while you’re searching for them. And this feature will be of great use if you are searching in a huge list of contacts. And at the same time Google has also officially announced that the latest Android launch KitKat 4.4 will be available in all major smartphones, and if you cant wait till its official release and you want it on your smartphone right away, checkout this app named Calchas App.
Calchas is a very simple app and doesn't have an extraordinary interface and seems to carry the outdated design language from Gingerbread days. And you can easily access Contacts and Phone apps directly from the Calchas without even leaving the app. Below them is the list if your frequently contacted people, followed by all your contacts. Tapping the entry for a contact in the list calls them, while tapping on their icon shows you other available actions.
You can also configure different parameters regarding how suggestions are presented to you. For that one, you will have to head to the Settings screen, which comprises of User Settings and Developer Settings. Under User Settings,user photos display in Calchas call log can be toggled.
There is also a feature for you to specify how many suggestions are shot between 5 to 8 or all. Also you can configure the app’s suggestions interface by sorting the list. The available choices include Suggestions (only), Suggestions (A2Z), Suggestions+ Call Log, Suggestions + Contacts, Suggestions + Call Log (A2Z) and Suggestions + Contacts (A2Z).
And the developer settings allow you to specify the Frequency and Regency of suggestions in days and hours respectively. The app gives suggestions based on either alphabetical order or the predection score of each contact, which can be set by tapping ‘Set wf (wr=1-wf), followed by selecting the required prediction score from the proceeding menu.
