How to wirelessly transfer photos and videos between iOS , Android, and PC with photosync

Usually iOS users have many tools for transferring files between PC and mobile. One of the most popular among this is Photosync as it allow you to share photos and videos between iOS devices or from iOS to mac and windows computer over a Wi-fi network and even automatically from bluetooth without any inconvenience.Happily, for Android features photosync is now available on Google play store with the same features and functionality which made photosync a good choice on iDevices. A stylish UI is one of the main features of photosync on Android.The developers had also updated this iOS app for iOS 7 although it looked not so beautiful on Apples mobile OS.

A grid of images and videos which are stored in your device is shown on the home screen of Photosync. Files can be send easily. First tap on a thumbnail to select a device and then you need to tap on the minuscule refresh like button at the top to specify where to send the file. You can send it to your computer, Android device or to any iOS device. If you wish to select multiple images, then long press a thumbnail and then select the images by simply tapping on them.




If you wish to share files between an Android device and an iOS device, then make sure that the photosync app is installed in the iOS device also.

Inorder to send a photo or video, photosync automatically scans your local network to find connected machines. You can begin your file transfer by simply tapping the device to which you need to send the files. You may also manually type the IP address of the required device if it is not automatically found.





You can also try using the companion desktop app for more intuitive and hassle free to receive files. You can send photos via a simple drag and drop method by using the Windows version. All you need to do is to simply drag and drop the files over the small drop window near the system tray.



After doing that just highlight the name of the device from the list and click on the send option. As there is no cloud between the devices, the photos are send in full resolution immediately.



In this Android app, it is possible to configure a whole lot of different options from the settings screen. You can easily transfer any new photos or videos which you have taken automatically by enabling the quick transfer option. Moreover you can also configure different parameters for the desired target devices. ie you can retain file names or create sub-directories if needed.





Photosync can be downloaded for free for desktop applications, but the iOS version costs $3 at iTunes app store while the Android version offers in-app purchases.
