Android App Downcount Allows You To Set Timers For Any Length Of Time On Any Future Date

If you need to quickly time things like waiting for your friend, boiling an egg etc the default clock app of Android can help you. But this default clock app fails when you need to keep track of longer periods or when you need multiple timers at a same time. Downcount is a new Android app which is available from the Google Play Store for free to overcome the drawbacks of the clock app. The new app allow users to create timers for any length of time without any usual hours limit.

Downcount’s look is simple with minimal interfaces. This app has a fascinating and attractive flat design. Moreover the UI of this app fair and easy to navigate. When you launch this app, a screen appears just like the picture below. The app name will be shown on the top left. On the top right side there is a plus button. Tapping this button allows you to add new countdown timers. The remaining space shows you the list of timers which you had already added. Downcount is entirely different from most of the apps which is available in the store. This app allows you to set timers for events which already happened and for events which is going to happen, ie, both in the past and future. You can thus go beyond the usual style of setting short period timers in seconds, minutes and hours.

You can tap the plus button on the  top right side to add a new event. You can also give it a name and a date. That is all what you need to do. If you need to add a past event, for example the day you was born, it will also count up.Another feature of the Downcount app is a calender which allows you to select the days for which you want to set timers. If you need to delete an item, you need to just swipe it away and a long press enables you to edit an item.

It would really be helpful to have options to set short timers in seconds, minutes and hours, but if you need to add timers for a longer period then the Downcount app is a very good alternative to the default clock app of Android. This app is available for free in the Google Play store. You can also purchase in-app upgrades to remove ads or support the developer.
