Delete Old iCloud Backups On iPhone


Many of you might have received annoying messages on your iPhone regarding how iCloud does not have enough space to continue backing up the device.If you receive those messages and if you are not ready to go for a higher tier than the default storage provided by Apple, here is a simple way to solve this problem.

Apple makes it quite simple to delete your iCloud backups on your iPhone. It is also possible to manage your backups work so that you can ensure to backup only the essential data. So here is how to delete the old iCloud backups on your iPhone.

Step 1: Select the 'Settings' icon from the Home screen

Step 2: From the settings tab, choose 'iCloud'.

Step 3: Tap on 'Storage and Backup'.

Step 4: From 'Storage and Backup' tab, select 'Manage Storage'.



Step 5: From the backups list, tap on your iPhone.

Step 6: Then you have to scroll down and select 'Delete Backup'.


Step 7: Tap on 'Turn Off & Delete'.

Step 8: Toggle iCloud Backup back on afterwards, if you wish.

If you run out of space always, here are some simple tips.You can toggle off Camera roll as part of your backup or try backing up your photos either through iTunes or to an external hard drive.
