Disable Notifications On Your iPhone's And iPad's Lock Screen

Notification Center display alerts from games and different apps. But if you are someone who views this notifications only when you need and if you does not want your screen to wake up every time to display notifications, here is how you can disable notifications on your iPhone's and iPad's lock screen.

Step 1: Launch Settings from the home screen and then tap Notification Center

Step 2: Look for the Access On Lock Screen section

Step 3: Turn off Notifications View and Today View


After finishing these steps, you will not receive any alerts on your lock screen from any apps or events from calender. If you wish to get alerts from events, then turn on Today View. 

If you want to get alerts from apps and events in Notification Center, but if you don't want to get alerts on your lock screen from certain apps like games, then you can disable it for each individual app. So let us look how to do it.

Step 1: Launch Settings from home screen and tap on Notification Center.

Step 2: Look for the Include section, which contains the list of apps that send notifications. From the list, tap the app on which you want to disable lock screen notifications.


Step 3: In the alerts section on the next screen, turn off Show On Lock Screen option.


After finishing these steps, you will no longer receive alerts on your lock screen from this app. However you can see the notifications when you open the notification center after unlocking your phone.
