One of the major highlights of the OS X Yosemite is its new iOS-7 style design language. This new design had added transparency, depth and simplicity to the interface. The ability to share your screen with others with the help of iMessage is also an another useful feature of this update.
Since quite sometime it was possible to share your screen with the help of services like AIM through the messages app. But this new updates OS X Yosemite allows you to share your screen through iMessage. Unfortunately this feature is broken in the first Yosemite beta. The bugs are expected to be fixed on the future releases.
The option to share screen is available on the detail menu on the right. You can either share your screen or ask the other person to share the screen.
iOS 8 already lets you record your screen and supports iMessage too. So this option may be soon available in other iOS too.
