Download the Galaxy S 4 GPe KitKat 4.4 OTA Offline update

It was officially announced that the Google Editions of Samsung S4 will be getting its official Android 4.4 Kitkat OTS. via Android Google+ Page. Mean while not much far, the update for OEM-skinned variants of the same devices, the timing wasn't exactly featuring. But anyway the Moto X is the first in scoring KitKat before it was on the Google Play edition devices.



It was found that the official update had released on two devices before it was more over available on before it was made public for the consumer devices. In fact i was not over all available for all those who own a SGS4. For that its better to try out with an offline update.

XDA-Developers are now up with this offline update. This update is preferred for the update to KRT16S prescribed from the previous version of the official Jelly Bean JWr66y build. For this updtion all you need to have is a Stock, Unrooted, and should be running with the stock recovery. Suggested that it might also be useful for those who are looking to port the update over the standard Samsung Galaxy S4.
