How to Jailbreak iPhone running on iOS 7 - iOS 7.0.5 using evasi0n7

Ensure you are here with an fully updated version of iTunes.

Ensure a safe backup of your iPhone on your iTunes or iCloud before you proceed.

evasi0n is compatible for iOS 7, iOS 7.0.1, iOS 7.0.2, iOs 7.0.3, iOS 7.0.4 and iOS 7.0.5 (Settings -> General -> About – Version)

Follow these steps to get started.

Step 1 : Download a latest version of the evasi0n Jailbreak, from here ( Official ) and save in a folder after naming it "evasi0n" right on to your desktop.

Step 2 : Now just double click the downloaded file and just extract the application on to the evasi0n folded created. Now just navigate on to the evasi0n application and launch it.

For windows users, Please note that you need to launch the application as an Administrator. For that just right click on the evasi0n.exe and select as "Run as Administrator" option.

Step 3 : One you have launched the application, now you u will be requested to connect your iPhone.

Step 4 : Dissable the passcode f present as it may fail your jailbreak process. 

(Settings -> General -> Passcode Lock On -> Turn Passcode Off)

Step 5 : Once you have disabled the pass code if any, now connect your iPhone to your computer. 



Now automatically the evasi0n will show your detected iPhone and as a part mentions about your iOS firmware currently running on it. All you need to do now is to just click on the Jailbreak button.

Step 6 : Once you have clicked on the Jailbreak button, the application tool will show a progress update on the various stages of the jailbreak process including

Retrieving remote package
Uploading jailbreak data
Injecting evasion app (1/2)
Injecting evasion app (2/2)
Configuring system (1/2)
Configuring system (2/2)
Rebooting device

While the jalbreaking process is running, don't start/use the iTunes or Xcode.

Step 7 : Now your iPhone will get rebooted, you will be getting a message informing you that to unlock your iPhone. Now don't close the evasi0n application.



Step 8 : Now unlock your iPhone and tap on the evasi0n7 app.



Step 9 : Now when you opened the evasi0n app you screen will go whte and reboot again.

Step 10 : Now you are almost there with the final touch up of your jailbreak until you are done with the rest of the steps on your iPhone. Once the iPhone get restarted, you will be on with a large evasi0n logo including messages about your status of the jailbreak process like :

Reading kernel
Calculating offsets
Setting up packages
Setting up Cydia
Continuing with boot

Step 11 : Once rebooted, you are done. To find if you are successfully jalbroken, you can find a Cydia icon on your iPhone's home screen. Please note that this might not be found on the first screen so please search over to locate it.

Important Note: If you get stuck over the process in the middle, its recommended to restart the process or hardware resetting your iPhone (if needed just holding down the hold and home button until t shutdown) and rerun the whole process again. And if you have updated to iOS 7.x using the OTA option or even using the iTunes, having problem jailbreaking your iOS device using evasi0n, then just restore your iPhone fully using iTunes and then try again to jailbreak.
