Get Over Your Smartphone Addiction With The Help Of Android Breakfree App

Sometimes getting over your smartphone addiction seems to be a tough job. This modern day gadget had become one of the unavoidable part of our life and it is difficult to stay from it nowadays. The smartphone is not just for sending emails, texting people and for making calls.Smartphones can entertain you in many more ways and often many of us stare at the blank screen of  the phone without any reason. Inorder to reduce this smartphone addiction Android had developed an app- Breakfree app. This app constantly give you feedback about how much and how often you are using your smartphone. This app also notify you about your overall phone usage, how many times you unlocked the screen and which app grabs your more attention.

This app tries to prevent you from getting distracted as much as possible by it, just like putting your phone in the airplane mode. This app has a simple design and the UI of this app splits your addiction score into three zones. If you are in the green zone, ie if your addiction score is between 0-40, your are not addicted to your smartphone. If your score is between 40-70, it indicates modest phone usage. But if your score is above 70, then you really need to keep your smartphone away for a while.

The Breakfree app is not just for tracking your phone usage, it can also help you to reduce your phone usage. This app contains a tools menu through which you can disable certain things like notifications, sounds or even internet and auto-reject calls. If you choose the auto-reject calls option you can also set custom messages for an auto responder SMS to be sent to the recipient.

You can also find the overall phone usage of any week or month by plotting it on the bar chat. Moreover you can track the stats for each app you use. For example it can find how many seconds you use Whatsapp or Facebook or any other app. Unfortunately this feature is unlocked only in paid variants.

The achievements section can be selected by navigating to the right. This section helps you to stay motivated by unlocking rewards. You can toggle a set of options according to your preferences such as persistent app notification on status bar and ability to disable track app usage through the Settings screen of this app.

The free version of the Breakfree app can be installed from the Google Play store but it has in-app ads which can be removed through the premium upgrade. The premium upgrade also offers more features.
