Bunch Of Updates By Google For YouTube, Hangouts, Play Music


Its been almost more than a week since, Google has come up with some updates. And now it has come up with some major updates, that too for YouTube, Google Play Music and Hangouts. Lets see what these updates are:


First we'll start with YouTube, new update comes in with version 5.9.0.10 from 5.7. And about the update, today's' update brings a few new tricks to the table. Given the rather large version number jump, one would expect a major increase in user-facing features. This, however, is unfortunately not the case. That said, there are tweaks to Playlist handling, including a new “View All” playlists button in the “hamburger” slide-out menu that takes you to all of your playlists. Once there (or anywhere else with a playlist), you can now click on the three button context menu for that playlist and either save or share it.




And next what we have is the Google Play Music and the update comes in with version 5.6.1616P.1323377 from version 5.5. This one is a much bigger than update than YouTube bringing changes for user interface. The version also brings major changes to the application’s widgets. There’s a new 1×1 “I’m Feeling Lucky” widget that corresponds with the music player app’s similarly named option. In addition, there is a new 3×1 widget with a cleaner and more aesthetically appealing color scheme, which can also be resized to 4×4 to display album art in addition to controls. Finally, the Download Queue area has been renamed to Manage Downloads, and it displays your free storage space in the top.




 And last we have a minor update for Google Hangouts, which comes in with version 2.1.317 from 2.1.311 which came two months ago. This is very much unlike the first two, this appears to be a minor bug fix release. And no user visible changes are found.

Verizon LG G Pad 8.3 Finally Gets Official KitKat Update

Its been a while since LG G Pad 8.3 has come to market and at the same time Google launched Android 4.4 KitKat and LG was busy with manufacturing Nexus 5. On the other hand while most of the new generation devices has been consistently updated with Android 4.3 or 4.4 LG G Pad 8.3 was really stuck with Android 4.2. evasi0n7 1.0.4 released in fixing the important security issues & Retina iPad mini reboot loop issues

Presently the team evasi0n7 had released their new version evasi0n7 1.0.4 to fix important security issues. This version also appears to include fix for the reboot loop issue for retina iPad mini as  evasion7 1.0.3 update that was released previously, but doesn't seems to help all the users.
