Apple released the iOS 7.0.4 earlier this month with a bug fix for an issue with the FaceTime calls, with other issues reported so far before the release of this version iOS 7.0.4 . The Musclenerd, member of the evad3rs team who is working on with the iOS 7 Jailbreak, said that the update is safe for those of you who plan in Jailbreaking your Devices, if you are being presently on iOS 7 already.
He prescribed that those users who're on the Jailbroken iOS 6 should still avoid the iOS 7.0.4 since there's no way in going back.
As Tweeted by Musclenerd :
Those at 7.x waiting for JB, maybe treat 7.0.4 as exercise in restraint. Won’t affect JB if you slip up, but test your ability to avoid it!

…but for those enjoying the 6.x JB, avoid 7.0.4 . There’s no going back (always worth saying that for sake of JB newbies)

Even though the evad3rs team appears to have all the pieces for an iOS 7 Jailbreak, they have'haven't fixed a release date yet. As the iOS 7.0.4 is a mirror release, its being unlikely to fix any major holes that could be used in a future Jailbreak, and is safe in upgrading to, if you already on iOS 7.
